Calibration Certification

Calibration Certification

When we talk about Calibration Certification we are really determining the official forklift and pallet truck scale performance.Through achieving compliance we can maximise revenue. To do so you have to comply with local and global regulations and standards such as: ISO 17025, Euramet, GLP and GMP, NIST Handbook 44 and OIML and MID ( Measuring Instruments Directive). Forklift and Pallet Truck is the only Company in Ireland accredited to calibrate the following products :

  • Forklifts
  • Pallet Trucks
  • Pallet Trolleys
  • Stackers
  • Handling Equipment

Repeatability and Consistency are the key to correctly maintaining your Forklift scale. Our calibration procedures ensure consistency through step-by-step testing procedures that comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements. We deliver comprehensive and audit-proof certificates, outlining which functions the Forklift will need to perform, ensuring all operations are covered. It is essential to calibrate in order to create a comparison between a known measurement (the standard) and the measurement using your instrument (piece of lifting or Handling Equipment). An accuracy ratio of 3:1 is acceptable by most standards organisations. The purpose of instrument calibration is to evaluate and adjust the precision and accuracy of measurement equipment. It is the way to reduce or eliminate partiality in an instrument’s readings over a range for all continuous values. When it comes to calibration certification for a Forklift, Stacker, Pallet Truck and Handling Equipment you can use either a mechanical or electronic scale. Though the former is not as fast as the latter, it is still quite a quick process after you adapt to the procedure. An electronic scale gives you an automatic readout when you press the calibration button, showing you instructions you have to follow to calibrate your electronic scale.

You do not have to concern yourself with the actual calibration process as we do it for you. Through conforming to set procedures and standards we calibrate the equipment and receive certification on your behalf. Calibration is such an important feature of your equipment’s ability to function efficiently that it is essential to ensure you acquire officially recognised certification through ourselves. We can complete the full procedure for you, cost effectively, removing worries or concerns you may have about calibration certification.any
